2800 Belden Drive
Los Angeles, CA 90068
You all might know how I love Beachwood Canyon’s Belden Drive. I’ve sold a house or two a time or two on the street. I’ve had my eye on this beauty at 2800 Belden for years. It’s thrilling to see it’s undergone a wonderful restoration, the kind that maintains while accentuating its mid-century design, while also adding modern stylistic touches throughout.
This private four bedroom home is situated on a hilly street near the top of the canyon. The lot boasts assorted fruit trees, an organic herb garden, two-car garage with direct access to the house.
Inside you’ll find a spacious top floor great room with soaring vaulted ceilings, brick fireplace, white oak floors, and chic one-of-a-kind light fixtures.
The dining area has excellent views and easy outdoor access to 40 x 5 foot balcony.
The seriously stunning kitchen features lovely mahogany cabinetry, marble and stone surfaces, custom brass work and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances.
The top level has a wonderful guest bedroom that could also double as your home office.
The guest bedroom has a nicely designed full en suite bath that feels like something straight out of Dwell Magazine.
The top level also includes the elegant and sophisticated master suite.
The suite has delicious views of the canyon, a walk-in closet, and this absolutely dashing master bath.
The second level consists of a great den and entertaining space, perfect for lounging, reading, or binging your favorite Netflix shows.
The level also has a wet bar so you can entertain easily without the hassle of running upstairs for more ice cubes, etc.
Downstairs also has two more equally sized guest bedrooms, each with flattering canyon views.
The downstairs bath is dapper without being overstated.
The third level contains your studio space with its own separate entrance. It’s an awesome space that would make a prime guest quarters for out-of-town visitors or as a quiet place to write, paint, or enjoy being alone.
The studio has its own singularly designed full bathroom.
The lower level deck space might truly blow your socks off. It’s about 600 square feet, which is way larger than my first Los Angeles apartment. And that first apartment certainly didn’t come with these incredible 270 degree views of the canyon.
It’s a magical home and a magical space to admire the views of the canyon, city lights, the Hollywood sign, and the Griffith Observatory. The only views it may be missing are ocean but, hey, take a stroll up the road and up a set of Beachwood Canyon’s Secret Stairs up to the very top of the mountain and you’ll catch them.
